Cameron Ferguson

Cameron Ferguson, known as "SketchyGuyNV," is a cartoonist and comic book creator based in northern Nevada. With a career spanning over 35 years in cartoons, illustrations, and caricatures, Ferguson has recently ventured into self-publishing comic books, bringing his unique cartoony and fun style to a wider audience.

Ferguson is the creator of two captivating comic series: "Professor G and Blake" and "The Sisters Wolf." "Professor G and Blake," loosely based on real-life Reno personalities, follows two unlikely heroes investigating supernatural phenomena. "The Sisters Wolf" tells the story of twin nine-year-old witches battling demons in the early 20th century, accompanied by their older sister and a talking Victorian-era head named Byrne.

His latest project, "Space Lasers," is an anthology comic featuring various short stories and teasers for potential future projects, including "The Shop at the End of the World" and "Short Haul." Ferguson's work often explores internal conflicts externalized in our lives, conveying the belief that even the most formidable adversaries can be overcome.

Influenced by artists like Bill Watterson, Skottie Young, and Mike Mignola, Ferguson creates both traditionally with mechanical pencils and brush pens and digitally on his iPad Pro. He has served as a panelist at conventions, speaking on the creation of independent comics and sharing insights with aspiring creators.

Beyond comics, Ferguson engages with fans at shows, creates custom work for organizations and charities, and can be found on various YouTube live streams, including his own SketchyGuyNV channel.

Available products include comics, posters, stickers, and an inking and coloring book.
